Are you overweight? Have you struggled to lose weight through diet and exercise with no long-term success?
Then weight loss surgery at Crouse Hospital may be right for you. Just ask Ted Long, one of our morning show hosts on 93Q. Since his surgery a year and a half ago at Crouse, Ted has lost 140 pounds. "I've never felt better," says Ted, adding that he's off his cholesterol and blood pressure medications for the first time in years.
Ted is now serving as a mentor for Morgan, who had weight loss surgery at Crouse in the fall 2012. LEARN MORE: www.crouse.org/ted
On Oct. 15, 2012, Morgan, weighing just shy of 400 pounds, had gastric bypass surgery at Crouse Hospital. Morgan didn’t opt for the surgery on a whim. Doctors had suggested many diets during her childhood, and then began recommending bariatric surgery. Fear is what prevented her from even considering the surgical procedure.
Morgan now has a new mentor: Ted Long from 93Q. Ted had his surgery at Crouse on Sept. 22, 2011, and has lost more than 140 pounds. He is going to serve as Morgan’s guide as she spends the coming months trimming down. You’ll be able to hear her on 93Q and cheer her on when she posts regular progress reports on Crouse’s Facebook page.
Good luck, Morgan! CHECK BACK for more updates on Morgan.
